Tiki Guards


Reaching the sacred place was a challenge, since the ruling chief (and his army) lived on this side of the wall. They would repel those attempting to reach the refuge.

The best approach was to attempt to swim from the point in the distance across the bay behind these tikis which guard the royal canoe landing.
